Greetings!  Though I have been blogging for about three years, I am really excited about sharing my new blog.  When I was new to blogging, I just chose ‘jstath’ as my blog title, which couldn’t be more boring!  I wanted to connect this blog to my running book, Grandma Wears a Running Skirt, hence the name ‘grandmaruns’. 

Although I will address other subjects on my blog, it will be predominantly about running and fitness.  Sometimes I have random thoughts on my mind that I just really need to write about, so you will see the occasional blog that has nothing to do with anything.   If you are new to the whole running scene, please ask questions or share your experiences.  If I don’t know the answer, I promise not to make anything up!  I will find an answer, or shamefully admit my ignorance.  I am certainly far from a professional runner, so please note that my thoughts on running are those of an average, middle-aged, new-to-the-sport runner. 

If you enjoy what you read, please share my blog with your friends.  If you don’t enjoy it, I guess you can share it with your enemies!  Trying to stay in shape, however we choose to do so, is a huge undertaking.  We need to support and uplift each other.

    • Thank you for reading both my book and my blog! Good luck with your running! It is awfully hard to stay motivated in this heat, but I also know I have never regretted a run. If you get time, I would love for you to write a review of my book on Amazon. I haven’t marketed the book at all, and am depending on word-of-mouth to get it out. Thanks, again!
